Substantial portion of ancient elephant tusk. Order proboscidae; sub-order (probably) mammothus. Excavated from Folkestone Bed (thus lower cretaceous) Not investigated. Formerly owned by Otford and District Archaeological Group (c1970) and then Otford Heritage Centre (1999)
