Rod Shelton’s model of Otford Palace, which was previously on display at the Heritage Centre, is now on loan to Lullingstone Castle together with the models of Percy Pilcher and his hang glider, and Lullingstone Villa. Lullingstone will be looking after them until the Museum in the Palace Tower opens as soon as the restoration works are completed.
Work is underway to create a 3D computer model from the model using photogrammetry.
