Otford Solar System

Have you ever wondered how big the Solar System really is? Or how far away the stars really are? At Otford there is a model which gives you a realistic insight, and you can see how the planets move round the Sun. This model not only shows the distances of the planets to the Sun and their sizes, but it also shows the correct relative positions of the planets at a point in time, names at the start of the year 2000. It is also capable of showing their relative positions on any given date and time, and how they move round the Sun. This book is written by David Thomas, who devised the model and supervised its construction.
